Evangeline is thrilled to be a part of the DNHC team! Having almost 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, Evangeline is proud to continue doing what she loves: helping people as they improve their health and quality of life. Evangeline enjoys being active; from participating in group fitness classes to walking her dog, and finds great fulfillment in teaching the children's choir of her church. She is always on the lookout for healthy recipes that are easy to cook but her guilty pleasure is Starbucks' horchata Frappuccino.
Knowing she was interested in a career in healthcare, Sarah completed her Bachelors degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa. With a passion for natural health, Sarah then continued her schooling to become a Holistic Nutritionist at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition where she obtained her Certified Nutritional Practitioner designation. Following her dreams of becoming a Naturopathic Doctor, Sarah plans to begin the 4 year program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in September 2016.
Working in a vibrant clinic that completely matches her view on living a holistic lifestyle and uses natural remedies to help patients achieve optimal health is something she finds refreshing. As Sarah is working towards a career in the natural healthcare field, working alongside such successful professionals is inspiring and an experience she is very grateful for!
Anisa Hajizadeh graduated from the Bachelor of Health Sciences program at McMaster University, and it was here that she developed a keen interest in the interplay between lifestyle and chronic disease. She is now a second year student at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, setting the foundation for a life of service in the realm of true health. There is little that compares to the vital work of enhancing and maintaining human health and she feels grateful to spend some time amid the highly skilled, compassionate, and intelligent practitioners at DNHC doing exactly that. DNHC facilitates a space where meaningful strides are made in the advancement of the health of our community, and to spend some time with the patients and practitioners that make this happen is always a good idea.
