Sindi Kachuck, CNP
Sindi is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and a graduate of the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. Sindi also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from York University, and is a certified Canfitpro Personal Trainer. She believes that understanding the connection between mind, body, and soul is integral to achieving optimal health, balance and joy.
Sindi believes that whole, nutrient-rich foods, a healthy digestive system and physical fitness lead to a happier and healthier life – this stems from personal experience and scientific evidence. In her mid-forties after years of yo-yo dieting, body image issues, and depression, Sindi took charge of her own health and the results were profound. Making small changes to her eating habits, walking daily and pursuing personal growth.
Sindi’s journey of self-discovery shaped her desire to learn more, as well as help others. She began studying at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition where she learned the impact that what we eat has on our bodies, both physically and mentally. Sindi discovered the root cause of her symptoms, made further improvements to her nutrition and lifestyle, which had a profound effect on her overall health.
Sindi has established her practice with a focus on women’s health issues including healthy weight loss, digestive issues, fatigue, as well as mental health and wellness. Having three university-age children, and coming to a healthier lifestyle in her mid-forties, gives Sindi a unique perspective and appeal. Sindi loves helping young women who want to take control of their health and prevent some of the challenges their mothers may have faced. Sindi can also relate to mothers, or mature women like herself who want to recapture their health and feel young again.
In a warm, supportive and non-judgmental environment, Sindi works with you to identify the small changes you can make, and to create your personal plan toward the sustainable, healthy lifestyle you desire.
Sindi will guide and keep you on your path to your healthy ever after.
