Homemade Apple Larabars

• 1 1/2 cups walnuts

• 1 cup dried apples

• 1 cup dried dates

• 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

• 1/8 tsp ginger

• 1/8 tsp salt


Directions


• Combine all ingredients in a food procesor and chop until all ingredients blend and a paste starts to form (careful not to over chop – you still want small pieces of fruit and nuts)

• If the mixture does not bind together add more dates

• Line and 8 x 8 pan with parchement paper and press mixture down evenly

• Refrigerate for 2 hours and cut into 8 bars

• Store in a container in the fridge
